Dr. Amorós was a Word Bank-CONICYT Postdoctoral Research Professor at the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Santiago, Chile from 2005-2006. He has experience with research, consulting and teaching at the Tecnológico de Monterrey relating to small and medium enterprise management in Mexico. Professor Amorós was Director of the MBA and Postgraduate Programs from 2004 to 2005 at Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus San Luis. He was also faculty of Entrepreneurship and Management and Chair of the B.A. Business Administration from 1996-2000. He served as Marketing Management at a Mexican industrial equipment company, RAISA.
Professor Amorós serves as a visiting professor and consultant to a number of Universities in Latin America. He is also an Associate with the Department of Business Policy and ESADE's Entrepreneurship Centre in Barcelona, Spain.
Dr. Amorós is the National Team Coordinator of the Global Entrepreneurship Project, GEM in Chile. He is also completing a several studies of entrepreneurship phenomena and high growth innovation on new business. He is developing cases and other course materials on entrepreneurship for the MBA, Executive Education programs as well as for other B.A. courses. He will star a research on the impact of new technologies on the new ventures growth in 2007.
