Universidad del Desarrollo has five college campuses. Two are located in Santiago and three in Concepción.
Under its conviction that an appropriate infrastructure and equipment constitute a fundamental complement to achieving academic excellence, UDD is concerned with leveraging its growth.
Our buildings measures 55,992 square meters and contain 63 laboratories, 102 classrooms, 42 auditoriums, 42 architectural workshops, 9 drama and art workshops, 19 design and advertising workshops and 16 study rooms, among other facilities.
There are libraries on each of the campuses that contain a wide collection of books, newspapers and magazines, compact discs, videos and bibliographic materials. There are more than 75,000 volumes made up of 27 thousand titles, 249 direct subscriptions and access to almost 15,000 copies of full-text e-magazines. And these are just a few of the features that our libraries have.
State-of-the-art digital equipment is available for audio and video editing, and there are radio and television studios where students can make and produce their own projects.
The School of Medicine has five clinical campuses, in the Padre Hurtado Hospital, in the Santiago's Clinica Alemana, in two branches of the Hogar de Cristo community center and the Clínica UDD, a dentistry center recently opened in La Florida area, located in the south east of the city. This building has 83 dentistry chairs, three surgery rooms, one sterilization room, five X-rays rooms, one cast laboratory, six classrooms, two audtoriums, two study rooms and one computer laboratory. It also has infrastructure for the Physical Therapy and Speech Therapy schools, with a special gymnasium and audiometry rooms.
The School of Engineering has laboratories outfitted with equipment and materials apt for experimenting in chemistry, physics, electricity and electronics.
