Universidad del Desarrollo does not have university residences, nor does it offer
accommodation services for foreign students. However it provides
information so that students can make the best decision of the place
they will be linving during their exchange period. The International Relations Office
created a brochure with different accommodation options that
do not depend on the University, but could serve as a guide.
We would like to leave you some tips so you can choose the best one
way your residence:

  1. Always have back up of what is offered by the tenant, either by mail or to
    through a lease.
  2. Be clear about what services the rental value includes (wifi, food, electricity, water,
  3. Consider public transportation to get to university or places
    of interest.
  4. In case you are a foreigner, you can check if they have previously received
    to students from other countries and if they speak your language for any emergency.

Here are some alternatives for accommodation that vary between $ 180,000 and $ 350,000 CLP (Chilean pesos).
