Each semester, the International Relations Office at UDD holds events for international students. Below are the typical activities held:
In the week before your classes begin, DRI will host a Welcome Program on campus to orient you to the campus with a campus tour, and provide you with practical information about your upcoming semester. This is a great opportunity to meet all of the international students, and learn about what UDD offers during your semester abroad.
This co-financed event is always a great start to your semester in Chile. DRI will bring you to a vineyard and you will get the chance to walk through the winery and learn about how wine is made, finishing with a wine tasting!
Tackle one of Santiago’s mountains with your classmates and be rewarded with fantastic views of the city.
An opportunity to showcase your home country in a stand in which you can include typical food, music, clothing, drinks, photographs, arts and crafts, and much more! The best stand will be awarded 200 USD!
Meet other UDD students and share some delicious pizzas that International Relations Office will provide for you. Ideal for conversation and making new friends, and we will have a surprise challenge for everyone!
Each semester, the International Relations team organizes a photo contest for all international students who attended UDD. The objective is to show your exchange experience in a photo that represents studying at UDD and living in Chile, highlighting the positive aspects of this experience both personally and professionally. The prize is USD$200. This picture should motivate other international students to want to have the same Chilean experience as you!
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS’ FAREWELL
