Our international short programs enable participating students to obtain a complete understanding of the economic, social, cultural and political reality of the countries they visit. With a length of 1 to 4 weeks classes and lectures from outstanding professionals and academics are combined with visits to relevant industries and cultural walks, creating a unique international experience.

If you are looking to improve your English proficiency in a university environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Each version of the program is done in a different city in one of our partner universities. The first version was successfully completed in Melbourne with the support of Deakin University and the second version was held in Los Angeles, California in conjunction with the prestigious University of Southern California. Through a rigorous curriculum and participation in cultural and educational activities on campus, you will be able to develop comprehensive English language skills and be fully immersed in university life in a first-rate institution.
Factoría Explora was born with the intention of generating an international experience for students who are working in research and technological development within FactoríaUDD, the technological exploration center. These interventions are carried out internationally renowned universities with a group of students and a responsible researcher during two annual periods (February and July). The program is hosted by the Faculty of Engineering, but is open to students of all faculties that are active part of Factoría UDD. During 2015, the two stays (EXP1 and EXP2) were held at the facilities of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the city of Boston, USA. The group was housed inside the Little Devices Laboratory.

Are you interested in learning and applying entrepreneurship in different fields? With the «Entrepreneurship Seminar» given at Babson College, Boston, United States, you will have the opportunity to do so. This three-week program will allow you to meet more than 300 international students from different countries, to live an academic experience of the highest level, and to study a program of entrepreneurship in the world’s leading university in the teaching of this area.
This initiative of the Faculty of Government and the Department of Student Affairs (DAE), is open to all students and UDD alumni, in order to bring them closer to the reality that different countries live in ,so they can know their culture, their political situation, and in particular, the problem of poverty. Among the countries visited to date are Bolivia, China, India and Vietnam.
This program is held in July of each year and is aimed at UDD students of Medicine and Kinesiology, and offers you the opportunity to study at the University of Sao Paulo, the largest institution of higher education and research in Brazil and in the complex Hospital in Latin America (Hospital das Clínicas). This is an intensive academic program open to health students from all over the world, whose main purpose is to exchange experiences between Brazilian students and international students so they can work together.
