1. Language requirement: Proficiency in Spanish is required. B2 Spanish level.
2. Academic requirement: Applicants must demonstrate excellent academic performance. They must be regular Dentistry students in their fifth or sixth year and meet the academic prerequisites to undertake clinical practice in Oral Surgery, Adult Dental Rehabilitation, and Pediatric Dental Rehabilitation.
3. Vaccinations: The following vaccinations are required: Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Influenza, and COVID-19. Both doses of the Hepatitis vaccines must be completed prior to the start of clinical activities, considering that the first dose should be administered at least one month before contact with patients.
If the student already has these vaccinations, they must provide official proof. If vaccination is needed in Chile, it must be completed at least one month before the start of the internship. Students may do so at the Darvax vaccination center or another provider of their choice.
4. IAAS Certification: Certification in the prevention and control of healthcare-associated infections (IAAS) is required.
5. Uniform: Students must have a Dentistry uniform at the start of their rotations. For its preparation, they should contact the company: [email protected]
6. Additional requirements: Some clinical training sites may have specific additional requirements, which will be communicated in due course.
